Deadline: 17-Nov-2025
The World Food Programme (WFP) Pakistan is implementing a food assistance initiative in Sindh to strengthen food security and support vulnerable communities.
The programme focuses on providing essential food supplies while linking relief efforts with livelihood activities to promote sustainable community development.
Selected organizations will participate in distributing food assistance, ensuring that households not only receive immediate nutritional support but also engage in activities that enhance their long-term livelihoods. This approach combines direct food support with opportunities for asset creation, empowering communities to build resilience against future food insecurity.
The expected outcomes of the programme include improved food security, stronger livelihoods through participation in productive activities, and increased community resilience. By integrating food distribution with capacity-building efforts, WFP Pakistan aims to provide both immediate relief and long-term solutions to support vulnerable populations in Sindh.
