Deadline: 28-November-2025
This funding is intended to help cover annual core running costs as well as programme delivery costs, provided that activities have a clear and demonstrable Good Relations focus.
Projects applying to this programme must align with the themes of the Executive Office’s Good Relations strategy, Together: Building a United Community. This includes work that supports children and young people to develop greater understanding and respect, initiatives that bring different communities together to build shared identity, activities that contribute to creating safer and more supportive neighbourhoods, and projects that promote cultural expression in ways that encourage inclusion rather than division. Applicants are encouraged to describe how their proposed activities will build trust, foster meaningful interaction and create lasting positive impact within their communities.
The grant provides funding from £2,001 up to £10,000, with the condition that funding can cover a maximum of 50% of the total project cost, requiring groups to secure additional support or contributions. This ensures that projects are well-planned, sustainable and supported by their communities. To be eligible, organisations must be not-for-profit, have a strong community development orientation, ensure that at least 90% of project beneficiaries live within the Council area, and must not have already reached their grant limit for the year.
Through this programme, the Council aims to help organisations expand their capacity, develop meaningful community-led initiatives and contribute to a more connected, inclusive and harmonious borough.
