Deadline: 12-Aug-2025
The Art Fund is currently inviting applications for its Reimagine Grant Programme, a funding initiative designed to spark creativity and strengthen the resilience of the arts and culture sector. The programme encourages innovative thinking and supports projects that align with current and future needs of the sector.
The grant prioritises projects that focus on growing and engaging audiences, building capacity and expertise within collections and the workforce, and promoting collaboration, shared learning, and sustainability. Applications should fall under at least one of the following themes: Relevance, Research and Rationalisation, or Resilience.
Grants ranging from £10,000 to £50,000 are available. Eligible applicants include formally constituted, not-for-profit organisations that hold permanent collections. These may include collections in fine art, design, social or natural history, archaeology, and scientific artefacts. Examples of eligible institutions include museums, galleries, university museums, and historic houses.
Applicants may apply individually, in a partnership, or as part of a collective. While organisations without collections, such as contemporary art spaces or professional networks, can participate as partners, they cannot lead applications in 2025. Previous recipients of Reimagine or Respond and Reimagine grants are also not eligible to lead new applications this year.
Funding will not be provided for retrospective activities, large-scale capital or repair projects, long-term operational costs, general overheads unrelated to the project, individual research or training, or any project that does not align with the programme’s core priorities.
