Deadline: 11-Aug-2025
The Cornwall Community Foundation is now inviting applications for the Trenouth Solar Farm Fund, which supports community projects that benefit residents of St Ervan, St Issey, St Eval, and St Merryn.
Priority may be given to projects that include an educational component or promote awareness around reducing carbon footprints. The fund reflects the commitment of those involved with the Trenouth Solar Farm to ensure that local communities directly benefit from its presence.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available, with the possibility of higher awards in exceptional cases. The panel will consider a broad range of projects, though preference may go to those that focus on education, sustainability, or lowering the environmental impact of local organisations or communities.
Projects can include costs related to delivery, operations, or capital investment. All funded projects must be completed within one year of receiving the grant, unless otherwise agreed.
Eligible applicants include charities, community interest companies (CICs), and community or voluntary groups. To apply, organisations must be based in one of the four named local areas.
