Deadline: 08-Aug-2025
Are you a medium-sized organization based in Gwembe, Sinazongwe, Petauke, Nyimba, Mambwe, Chipata, Kabwe, Kapiri Mposhi, Serenje, Mkushi, Kazungula, Chirundu, Livingstone, Choma, or Manze and actively contributing to community-led development? The Civil Society Strengthening Fund (CSSF) presents an opportunity to further your impact.
The CSSF is designed to support the growth and strategic development of locally-led, medium-sized civil society organizations (CSOs) in Zambia. The fund has two primary goals: providing unrestricted funding to allow CSOs to invest in areas they identify as critical to their overall improvement, and offering restricted funding specifically for initiatives focused on organizational strengthening.
To qualify, your organization must be legally registered and operational in Zambia for at least two to three years. You must have an active presence and project experience in one or more of the targeted districts for no less than two years.
Additionally, eligible organizations should have managed budgets ranging from ZMW 300,000 to ZMW 2,500,000 in the past five years. They must also have experience working on issues such as climate or environmental justice, gender justice, or early childhood development.
