Deadline: 19-Sep-2025
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation is inviting applications for its Dental Grant Program to support community-based initiatives across the United States. The goal of the program is to provide essential dental care to underserved or limited-access children, helping them secure a primary dental care provider.
The Foundation emphasizes the importance of working with local organizations that understand the unique oral health care needs of their communities. By partnering with these local entities, the AAPD Foundation aims to ensure children receive ongoing, quality dental care.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations classified under 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6), university-affiliated dental schools and their clinics, community college-affiliated dental programs, local health jurisdictions, county health departments, and hospitals or clinics. The program offers funding of up to $30,000.
Private dental practices, individual practitioners, and programs operating outside the United States and its Territories are not eligible to apply. The focus remains on non-private, U.S.-based initiatives with a strong community connection and commitment to improving children’s oral health outcomes.
