The One Young World is thrilled to partner with IKEA Social Entrepreneurship to offer scholarships for young social entrepreneurs to attend the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany. This opportunity is designed for social entrepreneurs committed to building a sustainable future where everyone is seen and heard, addressing the root causes of poverty, exclusion, and inequality.
Scholarship recipients will join IKEA’s global delegation at the Summit, gaining the chance to connect with sustainability leaders and showcase their projects on an international stage. They will become permanent members of the One Young World Ambassador community, a vibrant network of over 20,000 activists, humanitarians, world leaders, business innovators, and entrepreneurs.
The scholarship covers full access to the Summit from November 3 to 6, 2025, return economy flights to Munich, private hotel accommodation from November 2 to 7, and meals throughout the event. Additionally, recipients will receive letters of invitation to assist with Schengen visa applications if needed.
Applicants must be aged 18 to 30 and founders or co-founders of social enterprises operating in Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Romania, or Sweden. They should be able to communicate effectively in English and actively engaged in inclusive circularity, employment, or agriculture and food sectors.
Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership and a commitment to creating positive community impact through social entrepreneurship. While nationals of all countries may apply, most delegates fall within the 18-30 age range. Applications from those older than 30 will be considered based on personal impact and engagement, but those under 18 at the time of the Summit are not eligible.
