Deadline: 30-Jul-2025
The Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Impact100 Melbourne Grant Program. This initiative empowers Melburnians to give back to their city through collective giving, bringing together 100 community-minded individuals to pool their donations and fund impactful local projects.
The program is designed to support small to medium-sized organisations or emerging initiatives that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of people across Greater Melbourne. It focuses on justice and equity, particularly supporting those who face greater social and economic challenges and are often left out of important conversations and decisions—such as youth, women, and First Nations people.
To be eligible, projects must align with one of two impact areas. The first is Housing Justice, which seeks to end homelessness and expand access to affordable, adequate housing, especially for vulnerable groups. The second is Economic Justice, which supports local economic development and community wealth building through innovative, inclusive business practices.
The successful applicant for the 2025 Impact100 Melbourne Grant will receive at least $80,000 in funding. However, certain costs are not eligible for funding. These include debt reduction, conference attendance, religious activities for internal benefit, political events, medical research, legal fees, and discriminatory programs.
To apply, organisations must be endorsed as a Tax Concession Charity (TCC) and operate within Greater Melbourne, directly benefiting its communities. Priority will be given to small and medium-sized organisations or promising new initiatives that show real potential for positive change in the city.
