The Lutheran World Federation Kenya Djibouti Somalia Program has partnered with Dan Church Aid to call upon individuals and youth groups to share innovative ideas and solutions to address the local problems in Kakuma, Kakuma refugee camp, and Kalobeyei refugee resettlement.
This call will support and recognize innovative ideas that look at addressing local problems, better livelihoods, offer sustainable development, improve technology, and solve environmental issues.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any youth or youth group living in Kakuma, Kakuma refugee camp, and Kalobeyie refugee settlement. Must have new ideas on how they can address local problems, better livelihoods, offer sustainable development, improve technology, and solve environmental issues.
- Youth groups have to have a minimum of people and a maximum of 6. They will support new and ongoing startups.
- The Innovators will be given 10 minutes to pitch their entrepreneurship ideas to the panelists A panel of partners, composed by LWF Kenya Djibouti skills specialists, will evaluate all proposals and select a winner.
