Deadline: 01-Sep-2025
The Representative Office of Finland is inviting applications from Palestinian non-governmental organizations for a grant to support development projects. The primary goal is to strengthen the capacity of local civil society actors to implement projects that are results-oriented and sustainable.
The focus of the call is on promoting the rights and status of women, especially in relation to women, peace, and security, in line with UN Security Council Resolution 1325. It also supports youth participation in peace and security, aligned with UN Security Council Resolution 2250.
Projects must be carried out by local partners. Only small procurements up to €15,000 from external agents are allowed. Any procurement exceeding this amount must follow Finnish legislation on competitive bidding procedures.
Funding under the FLC program cannot be granted to Finnish NGOs, friendship associations in Finland, government agencies, public bodies, municipalities, or businesses. It also cannot be used for basic research, single cultural events without lasting development impact, or charitable purposes.
