Deadline: 21-Sep-2025
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Hanoi has announced its annual Small-Scale Projects (SSP) Call for Proposals, welcoming local organizations in Vietnam to submit development initiatives that generate meaningful and sustainable community impact.
This initiative aims to support targeted activities in diverse sectors such as environment, agriculture, health, education, and social services—all anchored in the principle of long-term sustainability without ongoing external funding.
Local entities with legal status—such as non-governmental, academic, or intergovernmental organizations—are eligible to apply. The program funds projects based in Vietnam and supports the Czech Republic’s commitment to fostering local development through tangible, context-specific contributions. Projects should be purpose-driven, cost-efficient, and require careful budgeting; notably, personal and travel-related expenses must not exceed a quarter of the total project budget.
Financial support ranges from 200,000 CZK to 500,000 CZK (roughly USD 9,500 to 23,500). Co-financing is encouraged but not mandatory. The funding window includes project implementation from March through October 2026, with rigorous expectations for visibility and accountability—including mandatory Czech branding on deliverables and a comprehensive final report.
Successful applicants are expected to sign contracts by mid-March 2026 and complete all activities by October 31, 2026, with final reports due in November. This call offers a compelling opportunity for Vietnamese organizations to secure resources, elevate local development, and strengthen Czech–Vietnamese ties through sustainable, locally led action.
