Deadline: 15-Aug-2025
Students from Classes 9 to 12 and Art Colleges across India are invited to participate in a national stamp design competition on the theme UN@80. This initiative is organized by MyGov, the Department of Posts, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the United Nations Political Division to celebrate the UN’s 80th anniversary in 2025 and India’s leadership in global cooperation and multilateralism.
All CBSE-affiliated schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas, schools from state boards, and art colleges are eligible to participate. Institutions must submit their top five student-designed stamps via the MyGov portal. Only institutional-level participation is allowed, and individual submissions will not be accepted. New institutions must register on MyGov and ensure their profiles are complete and accurate for official communication.
India, as a founding member of the UN, has contributed to peacekeeping, sustainable development, human rights, and disaster risk reduction. The theme of the competition encourages students to depict India’s commitment to multilateralism and global leadership through their artwork. Participants may creatively use elements like “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” peacekeeping missions, or India’s role in championing the voice of the Global South.
Entries must be created on A4-size (200 GSM white) sheets using crayons, pencil colors, watercolors, or acrylics. The top five shortlisted designs by each school or college should be scanned and uploaded together to the MyGov portal, as only one upload is permitted per institution. These submissions will also be forwarded to the respective Circle’s Chief Postmaster General for further evaluation.
The contest has no entry fee. Submissions must be original, appropriate, and free from provocative or copyrighted content. Late entries will not be considered. Final selections will be made by a committee, and its decisions will be binding. No individual notifications will be given to non-selected participants.
Any updates or changes to the contest will be posted on the MyGov InnovateIndia portal, and institutions are responsible for staying informed. The Department of Posts reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest. All entries will be reviewed to ensure educational value and compliance with guidelines.
