Applications are now open for the ANZ New Zealand Staff Foundation Grant Program. This program provides financial support to registered New Zealand charities that meet specific social and community-focused goals.
Charities can request up to $25,000 per funding round. The Foundation supports initiatives that promote financial literacy, foster economic and social independence, and create access to learning opportunities. It also backs projects that build strong, secure communities and efforts to conserve New Zealand’s natural and historical resources.
Certain types of requests are not eligible for funding. These include applications from schools, sports clubs, endowments, and fundraising events or campaigns. The program also does not support capital investments like new buildings or fixed assets unless the equipment is critical for the organization’s operation—such as medical devices for home-based hospice care.
The Foundation does not cover regular operating and administrative costs, including salaries. However, it may fund specific specialist services, like hourly sessions with a professional counsellor, if clearly defined in the application.
