The Dyson Community Grants aim to improve community wellbeing in areas served by the Dyson Group in Victoria and southern New South Wales. The program places a strong focus on supporting migrant communities, people with disabilities, women and girls, and individuals experiencing economic hardship.
Grants between $500 and $2,000 are available to community groups and sporting clubs for purchasing equipment or tangible resources. Larger grants ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 can be used for community programs, events, services, or training—including associated equipment costs.
To be eligible, applicants must be an incorporated not-for-profit or be formally supported by one. Their activities should either be based in or primarily serve communities in Dyson’s service areas.
Funding is not available for individuals, religious or political activities, previously completed projects, general fundraising efforts, or capital works unrelated to direct community wellbeing. Sporting activities must also address disadvantage to qualify for support.
