Deadline: 12-Sep-2025
The Trust Waikato is inviting applications for its Community Response Grant Program, aimed at creating transformational change for people, families, communities, and places with the greatest needs. The program supports initiatives that enhance community vibrancy, aspirations, quality of life, resilience, participation, and inclusiveness.
Funding focuses on culture and arts, community development, environment, sports and recreation, indigenous people, and wellbeing. Grants start at a minimum of $1,000, with no maximum limit.
Eligible applicants are not-for-profit organizations operating within the Waikato region or providing services there. These organizations must have a bank account, annual financial statements, and be either an incorporated society or a registered charitable trust.
The Trust will not fund business associations, conference attendance or accommodation, endowments, fundraising, individuals, or loan repayments. Grants favor organizations that offer facilities or services benefiting the public, contribute to community vibrancy and resilience, have a proven track record or significant potential, and demonstrate community support aligned with the Trust’s focus.
Applicants must upload several documents when applying, including a Chair’s report or meeting minutes if the group is new, annual financial statements or profit and loss statements for newer groups, a recent bank statement, and a verified bank deposit slip or official bank confirmation of account details.
