The FOTEA Foundation is seeking proposals for its East African Photography Award (EAPA).
East African Photography Award celebrates multi-image stories that explore any theme personal, social, cultural, political, environmental, or otherwise. More than just beautiful photos, they’re looking for strong, relevant visual storytelling.
Categories
- You can now also submit up to three single images in any of the following categories:
- Human – Stories of people, community, and human experience
- Planet – The environment, landscapes, and natural world
- Imagine – Experimental, conceptual, or creative work (No AI-generated images allowed)
Prizes
- Best Story Winner: Fujifilm X-T5 + XF16-50mm lens
- Best Single Image Winner: Fujifilm X-T50 + XF16-50mm lens
Eligibility Criteria
- The East African Photography Award (EAPA) is open to photographers who are citizens of Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
