Deadline: 15-Sep-2025
The Copyright Agency’s Cultural Fund for organisations offers creative organisations across Australia an opportunity to deliver impactful projects that benefit writers, visual artists, educators, publishers, and members of First Nations and other diverse communities.
Funding is available for single-project grants of up to a year, typically in the range of $10,000 to $30,000, intended to support initiatives that engage or expand audiences or foster leadership and development within the creative industries.
Eye-catching opportunities include commissioning writers from diverse backgrounds, embedding artists in schools or cultural institutions, and supporting leadership ventures in publishing or visual arts sectors.
Legally constituted organisations and incorporated associations are eligible to apply, but individuals, sole traders, government departments, and multi-arts festivals are not. Each organisation may submit only one application per round and must have completed any prior Cultural Fund grant acquittals to be considered.
The Cultural Fund encourages applicants to ensure that writers and visual artists are compensated at industry-standard rates. Prospective applicants uncertain about eligibility or scope are invited to contact the Fund for clarification before submitting their proposal.
