Deadline: 28-Jul-2025
Do you create eco-friendly products, use sustainable materials, offer green services, or make art that supports both nature and your community? If so, this call is for you!
UNDP Georgia, with support from the Government of Denmark, has launched an initiative called ‘Greening the Future, Advancing Rights and Stability’ to support green entrepreneurs and creatives in Poti and Khobi.
Whether you run a one-person business, work in a small group, or are just starting out, if you care about sustainability and want to grow your impact, this opportunity is designed to help you. The goal is to encourage products and services that minimize environmental harm, reduce emissions, use resources responsibly, and promote social and economic resilience.
These solutions focus on renewable, recycled, reused, or biodegradable materials and follow circular economy principles by using less energy and water, lasting longer, and being repairable or reusable. The initiative promotes sustainable production and consumption, climate-conscious entrepreneurship, pollution reduction, ecosystem protection, and income growth while advancing the green transition.
They want to help you build skills, reach more customers including tourists, boost your income, and be part of a greener, smarter, and fairer future in Poti and Khobi.
If selected, you’ll join a vibrant program that offers a 3-month intensive learning experience covering green business, digital marketing, eco-packaging, branding, pricing, storytelling, and sales strategies for tourists and online customers.
You’ll have access to Creative Labs and Peer Circles to test ideas, receive feedback, and collaborate with local and national talents. Opportunities to showcase and sell your products will be available through Green Showrooms and pop-up markets at cultural events.
Mentoring will support you with professional photos, videos, branding, and storytelling on social media and other platforms. You’ll also connect with local and national businesses, tourism operators, e-commerce platforms, and potential partners beyond Poti and Khobi.
A limited number of participants will receive seed support, selected through an internal competition, to help kickstart or scale their work.
They are looking for local makers, artists, and entrepreneurs interested in eco-friendly products and services. This includes creators of reusable, plastic-free, upcycled, natural, biodegradable, repurposed, or restored goods.
They welcome creatives who want to integrate their art into sustainable tourism, through storytelling, exhibitions, or experiences. Service providers using eco-friendly materials or methods like eco-packaging, eco-design, or eco-materials are encouraged to apply.
Women, youth, internally displaced persons, and underrepresented groups are especially invited to participate.
