Deadline: 15-Oct-2025
The Dover District Council Cost of Living Community Impact Fund is designed to support local projects that address the financial pressures faced by communities within the Dover District.
Its aim is to help bridge the cost-of-living gap by providing targeted funding to community initiatives that make a real difference. Grants range from £100 to £5,000, offering flexible support to organisations tackling these challenges.
Applications are welcomed from a wide range of community-based organisations, including registered charities, Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs), Community Interest Companies (CICs), social enterprises, and constituted voluntary or community groups.
Sports clubs, youth clubs, church or faith groups, and school-related groups such as PTAs are also eligible, provided funding is for extracurricular activities outside of normal school hours.
Certain applicants are not eligible to receive funding. These include registered or for-profit businesses, individuals seeking personal sponsorship, political parties or groups, elected councillors, organisations requesting contributions for general appeals, and bodies that already receive a public precept, such as Town and Parish Councils.
The fund prioritises projects that have a direct and measurable impact on local communities struggling with the rising cost of living, ensuring support reaches those who need it most.
