Deadline: 10-Oct-2025
The Public Union “Network of Civil Society Hubs of Ukraine” (hereinafter referred to as the Network of Hubs of Ukraine) announces a competition for small grants for civil society organizations from all over Ukraine (except for the temporarily occupied territories).
Funding of up to 2,000 euros is available for organisations—both experienced and newly-formed—to implement initiatives that strengthen civic engagement, improve quality of life, and promote cooperation between citizens and local authorities.
Projects submitted should address themes like social cohesion, youth activation, integration of internally displaced persons, and enhancing dialogue and collaboration within communities.
Organisations applying must form teams of at least three people and may include those with no prior experience in grant implementation. The grant is part of the “Strengthening Civil Society in Eastern Partnership Countries” programme, and it emphasizes sustainability, local relevance, and value for money.
Applicants are required to contribute 10 % of their project budget from their own resources, which is repayable upon approval of financial and program reports. Projects must be completed within the specified timeframe and must adhere strictly to the rules and reporting expectations.
This opportunity allows Ukrainian grassroots organisations to secure modest funding for meaningful local projects, gain capacity to implement activities, and foster deeper engagement within their communities at a time when civic action and local initiatives are more important than ever.
