Deadline: 17-Aug-2025
The Digicel Foundation is now accepting applications for its Extraordinary Projects Impacting Communities (EPIC) Grant, aimed at empowering community organizations to create meaningful and sustainable change across Trinidad and Tobago.
This year’s EPIC Grant will support projects in three key thematic areas. The first is Environmental Sustainability, which funds initiatives that responsibly manage natural resources, reduce environmental impact, conserve biodiversity, and promote sustainable community practices.
The second focus area is Sport for Development. This includes projects that use sports and physical activity to promote youth empowerment, teamwork, leadership, social inclusion, and healthier lifestyles. The goal is to create social change through sport-based initiatives that tackle community challenges and build essential life skills.
The third thematic area is Technology and Digitalisation. This supports projects that use digital tools and innovation to drive community development, improve access to information, and strengthen digital literacy. The aim is to close the digital divide and help communities adapt and thrive in today’s digital world.
Ten selected NGO partners will each receive TT$100,000 in funding to implement their projects. Only registered non-profit organizations are eligible to apply, including community-based groups, faith-based organizations, and public schools, with proof of registration required.
EPIC funding must be used exclusively for tangible project costs. It cannot be used for salaries, stipends, utility bills, or any other recurring expenses. This edition of the EPIC Grant will support only the three specified thematic areas.
