Deadline: 01-Sep-2025
The Inclusive Talent Brokerage (ITB) programme is offering grants to community-based organisations to increase their capacity to connect underrepresented Londoners with good work opportunities.
The focus areas of the programme include significantly boosting job brokerage and matching activity, increasing the volume of people organisations place into good work opportunities, opportunity brokerage through sourcing exclusive opportunities such as jobs, internships and apprenticeships, candidate screening to activate job-ready cohorts, personalised candidate matching, support and preparation to help candidates through recruitment processes, employer engagement to expand relationships and advocate for underrepresented communities, community referrals to other organisations or talent system partners, in-work support to sustain employment, and supporting employers to build inclusive recruitment processes by removing barriers and creating enabling environments.
The ITB programme funds community-based organisations to help underrepresented Londoners, particularly from Black and minority ethnic communities, to access jobs in London’s growth sectors. It also supports employers to fill vacant roles with skilled candidates from diverse backgrounds. Funding will be awarded to up to 12 organisations, with grants ranging between £40,000 and £70,000. Delivery is expected to take place from September 2025 to September 2026.
Eligible applicants include voluntary, community, and social enterprise sector organisations with a strong track record of supporting underrepresented Londoners into high-quality employment. Priority will be given to groups that are Black- or minority-ethnic led, or those that embed lived experience of racially underrepresented groups within their organisational culture and programmes. For-profits may be considered if they meet the eligibility criteria and demonstrate high social impact.
Applicants are expected to design delivery models that address the key focus areas, while maintaining flexibility to tailor their approach to the needs of their communities. However, funding cannot be used for training or wraparound support for candidates who are not yet job-ready, as the programme is specifically focused on job brokerage and matching support.
Applications must be submitted by 1 September 2025. Successful applicants will play a vital role in ensuring more inclusive employment opportunities across London, strengthening both communities and the workforce.
