Deadline: 31-Oct-2025
The King Charles III Charitable Fund’s Small Grants Programme offers grants of up to £3,000 per year for up to three years to support UK-registered non-profit organisations working to create lasting positive change in their communities.
The funding themes include Education, Heritage & Conservation, Social Inclusion, Health & Wellbeing, Environment, and Countryside. This programme aims to empower grassroots community organisations across the United Kingdom that are working in disadvantaged areas and are often overlooked by larger funders. It focuses on supporting small but impactful initiatives that align with the Fund’s six thematic priorities, providing financial assistance that enables meaningful community-level outcomes.
To qualify for funding, applicants must be UK-registered non-profit organisations with an annual income between £25,000 and £500,000. Eligible organisations should have been operational for at least two years and hold less than six months of unrestricted free reserves. The total project cost must not exceed £50,000. Organisations that distribute funds to others, have political affiliations, or are individuals or public bodies are not eligible. Projects that are capital expenditure-based are excluded, except those relating to community-based heritage and restoration efforts. Organisations addressing food waste, food insecurity, or food poverty within the UK are also ineligible.
Each applicant can submit an online application form during the open window, and successful organisations will be informed within two months. Grantees are required to submit a progress report after their project period to qualify for further funding consideration.
