The Youth Awards honors high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community and for their excellence in various categories, including: Community Service, Engineering, Green Sustainability, and Technology.
The Youth Awards program serves as the main feeder to LOFT (Leaders On Fast Track) and LOFT Leadership Institute (LLI), an active institution focused on leadership, workforce, community, culture, and social justice led by HHF in partnership with Trinity University.
The program is open to all US states and territories. Eligibility for the 2025 season requires students to be currently enrolled in high school and graduating in the spring of 2026, maintain a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 7.5 on a 10.0 scale, and plan to enroll at an accredited higher education institution in 2026-2027. Selected recipients must also attend the virtual awards ceremony.
The 2025 Youth Awards season is currently open, with the application deadline set for November 2nd, 2025.
