The Victorian Multicultural Commission is currently seeking nominations for the Sport Award to recognise people and organisations that develop and implement sporting programs that aim to build social cohesion and harmony across communities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals, community groups, and organisations.
- Multiple organisations working together are also eligible.
- Self-nominations are accepted.
Assessment Criteria
- Develops innovative internal practices that demonstrate the benefits of multiculturalism.
- Promotes diversity within sport and fosters intercultural understanding and inclusion.
- Increases participation of Victorians from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in sport.
What do I need to make a nomination?
- You will be asked 4 questions to support your nomination.
- All nominations must include contact information for 2 referees. Note: referees are compulsory.
- You may attach up to 5 additional materials to support your nomination, for example news articles, videos or referee statements.
