Nominations are now open for the Your UK Parliament Awards 2022 to recognise the fantastic individuals who have made a difference in their communities and beyond.
If you’ve made a difference in your community or helped to promote democracy, apply for a Your UK Parliament Award. Big or small they want to hear about a change you’ve made by taking action. It could be in your local community, online or in your school. Let them celebrate you and your achievements!
Categories
- Community Campaign of the Year: Recognises an organisation that has campaigned for change in their community
- Digital Campaign or Campaigner of the Year: Celebrates the work of an individual or organisation that has made an impact and created change by campaigning online, using social media and other digital tools.
- School of the Year: Recognises schools which have taken action on an issue they care about
- Teacher of the Year: This award category is dedicated to teachers or educational leaders who have taught their students and colleagues about the UK Parliament in innovative, inspiring and engaging ways
- Volunteer of the Year: Recognises the amazing work of people who have volunteered their spare time to help others get involved with democracy and the UK Parliament
- UK Parliament Week activity of the Year: Recognises the work of schools and organisations who made an outstanding contribution to UK Parliament Week
- Campaign or activity of the Year (in the Welsh Language): Recognises the work of individuals, schools and organisations whose campaign for change has been in the Welsh language (2020 winner)

Criteria
- There are 7 Award categories to choose from and one of them is for you!
- It’s a simple application form and they want to hear about the democratic action you took!
- This could be a campaign, debating or voting on a subject, contacting your MP, sharing information, taking action on an issue you care about, or anything else.
- You can nominate yourself or someone you know.
