The Clare Communities Fund is a three-year collaborative initiative between Rethink Ireland, the Michael Guinee Charitable Foundation, and the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, aimed at fostering participation, accessibility, and social inclusion across County Clare through a strong sense of community and wellbeing.
The fund focuses on empowering local communities by supporting grassroots projects to address social inequalities and build resilience, enhancing social inclusion to strengthen community ties and collaboration through innovative projects, promoting inclusion and belonging by engaging individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly marginalised groups, championing innovation in the arts through digital storytelling, immersive technologies, and creative industries to drive cultural growth, and improving mental health and wellbeing by recognising the community’s role in fostering wellness and resilience.
