Deadline: 17-May-2026
The City of Greater Dandenong is inviting submissions for Entry Level Grants, aimed at newly established not-for-profit community groups, clubs, associations, or those that have not previously received Council funding. These small grants are designed to support group development, activities, and health and wellbeing projects.
Groups applying must have a purpose that aligns with promoting community wellbeing. Successful recipients are encouraged to maintain regular contact with the Council, including submitting a report after completing the funded activity.
Grants of up to $1,000 are available. Funding can be used for establishment costs such as public liability insurance, promotional materials, recruiting new members, venue hire, stationery, and equipment. It can also support regular group activities, community programs, or small events that raise funds for the organisation.
Eligible applicants must be volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisations that hold regular activities in Greater Dandenong. They must operate a bank account in the group’s name and apply for activities planned in the current financial year.
Applications are ineligible if the group has already received a grant from the City of Greater Dandenong or, in the case of groups older than one year, has an annual income exceeding $50,000. Funding cannot be used for electronic office equipment, staff salaries, or payments to group members.
