Deadline: 31-Mar-2026
The Hilton Fund provides grants for small community and voluntary groups based in parts of South Staffordshire.
The fund offers grants of up to £2,000 to support a variety of community projects, providing flexible financial assistance to organisations and groups looking to make a local impact. Applications can be submitted at any time, with formal consideration occurring at two meetings each year. In exceptional cases, such as time-sensitive projects or emergencies, the fund advisors may consider applications outside the usual schedule, though applicants are advised to contact the fund in advance to confirm.
Eligible costs for the grants include expenses such as equipment purchases, capital costs, and training initiatives that help deliver or strengthen the proposed project. These funds are intended to directly support tangible elements of the project and build capacity within the organisation or community involved.
Certain costs are considered ineligible. These include general running or core costs, one-off event costs, and funding that exceeds two-thirds of the total project cost. The fund does not support religious projects or those that promote religion, though religious organisations may apply for grants for non-religious activities. Applications promoting a specific political party over others are also excluded.
By focusing on these criteria, the fund ensures that support is targeted to practical, impactful, and community-focused projects. This creates opportunities for small organisations to access meaningful funding to deliver projects that bring real benefits to their local areas.
