Deadline: 15-Aug-2025
Submissions are now open for the New Zealand High Commission Fund, which supports small-scale, short-term, community-based projects that bring clear and tangible benefits to local communities.
For this round, the focus is on projects that promote access to education, skill development, arts, and cultural knowledge, as well as initiatives that strengthen economic resilience and livelihoods. Applications with a strong emphasis on gender equality, disability inclusion, and social inclusion will receive higher consideration.
The fund offers small grants of under NZD 20,000 and medium grants ranging from NZD 20,000 to NZD 50,000, though medium grants are limited and reserved for exceptional, high-impact projects. One large grant of up to NZD 100,000 will also be awarded.
Eligible applicants include non-governmental organizations (NGOs), community groups, schools, local authorities such as district and town officers or village committees, local small business associations, and women or marginalized peoples’ entrepreneurship groups.
