The U.S. Venture/Schmidt Family Foundation is seeking applications for its grants and event sponsorships of up to $35,000 to amplify the positive impact of U.S. Venture’s support in the community.
This funding is offered through a streamlined application process on U.S. Venture’s newly launched grant platform, Temelio. Designed for ease of use, Temelio features a user-friendly interface and helpful tools to guide applicants through each step.
To begin the application process, organizations must create a new account upon their first visit to Temelio. The platform integrates with Candid, allowing applicants to input their EIN number and automatically populate their application with existing organizational data. Updates can be made directly in the application, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. For added support, a live chat feature is available during business hours to assist with any technical issues that may arise during the application process. Applicants also have the option to download the full list of application questions for offline review and preparation.
Eligible applicants must be public charities under IRS guidelines, with preference given to those that hold 501(c)(3) status. Each organization is allowed to receive only one grant or sponsorship per calendar year. Applications must also align with U.S. Venture’s giving guidelines and demonstrate documented support from a U.S. Venture team member or shareholder. Additionally, applicants are required to include a full list of both pending and committed sponsors, as U.S. Venture generally prefers to collaborate with other funders rather than act as the sole financial contributor.
