The International Renaissance Foundation (IRF) has announced the “Sustainable Community 2021” Competition for Participation in Program.
The program is implemented by the Ukrainian school of practical knowledge on access to justice since 2019 and directly administered by the Network of legal development based on a network of legal clubs Pravokator the support of partner organizations and institutions: International Fund “Renaissance”, Ukrainian Foundation for Legal Aid, Coordination Center for Legal Aid.
The Educational and Practical Community Training Program (hereinafter referred to as the Program) creates a unique opportunity for Ukrainian communities to plan, prepare and conduct research on the legal needs of their residents.
The knowledge and results obtained by the Program participants help:
- Develop local programs to ensure access to justice, and thus begin to address the legal problems of communities.
- Involve local and external resources to implement these initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the efforts made to empower the community.
Criteria
- Territorial communities from all regions of Ukraine can take part in the 2021 Program, except for the cities of Kyiv and Sevastopol, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the occupied part of the Donetsk region, and the entire territory of the Luhansk region.
