Applications are now open for the Swope Dreams Community Impact Challenge to improve residents’ lives in southwest Atlanta neighborhoods.
Each individual or team can request up to $5000 to support a project/initiative they believe will enrich and improve their community. Those selected will also have access to their network of mentors who will help champion your idea and provide assistance throughout the project lifecycle.
Focus Areas
They are open to any ideas that YOU believe will positively impact their communities. Some areas of focus include:
- Neighborhood beautification
- Art / Culture
- Economic empowerment
- Education
- Community resilience
- Public Safety
- Food Security
- Housing affordability

- Swope Dreams is offering $25,000
- Each individual or team can request up to $5000
Eligibility Criteria
- They encourage residents in the NPU-V – Adair Park, Mechanicsville, Peoplestown, Pittsburgh, and Summerhill/Capitol Homes to apply. However, anyone who resides in the metro Atlanta area is eligible.
- They encourage anyone with a passion for their community and an idea they would like to see come to life to apply to have their project sponsored. Applicants can be individuals, teams/groups of people, non-profit organizations, or small businesses.
- Proposals must immediately benefit the SW Atlanta neighborhoods in NPU-V (Adair Park, Mechanicsville, Peoplestown, Pittsburgh, and Summerhill/Capitol Homes).
