King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is accepting applications for the KAUST Global Fellowship Program. This initiative is designed to attract and support outstanding emerging research leaders and scientists from around the world as they build their path toward a fully independent career.
The program aims to inspire a new generation of scientists and engineers to address global challenges and discover opportunities that benefit humanity. It targets exceptional postdoctoral researchers who bring breakthrough ideas that align with and advance KAUST’s key research priorities.
Fellows are immersed in a research-driven environment, gaining full access to advanced research tools, equipment, and world-class facilities. They are also supported by a strong academic and professional community that enables them to pursue ambitious research goals.
The fellowship includes access to a wide range of learning and development programs. These include the KAUST Mentoring Program, Harvard Higher Education Teaching Certificate, and leadership training. Fellows benefit further from networking opportunities with peers and alumni of the program.
Each fellow receives up to $40,000 to support their research proposal. Additionally, the fellowship offers a yearly living stipend of $75,000, along with comprehensive benefits such as medical insurance, accommodation, schooling for up to two children, relocation support, and an annual travel allowance. The total support enables fellows to fully concentrate on their research with financial security.
The fellowship provides three years of funding. It offers a unique opportunity for early-career researchers to independently pursue innovative research and lay the foundation for a long-term academic or research career.
