The Victorian Multicultural Commission is pleased to launch the Emergency Services Award to recognise people, units, clubs or stations working or volunteering for Victoria’s emergency services that promote and champion diversity and/or address the specific needs of multicultural communities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals, units, clubs, stations and organisations.
- Multiple organisations working together are also eligible.
- Self-nominations are accepted.
Assessment Criteria
- Develops innovative internal practices that promote and support diversity and inclusion in units, clubs or stations.
- Considers and responds to specific needs of multicultural communities through service delivery, communications or community engagement.
- Promotes the benefits of diversity and builds social cohesion within local community through engagement and awareness activities.
What do I need to make a nomination?
- you will be asked 4 questions to support your nomination
- all nominations must include contact information for 2 referees. Note: referees are compulsory
- you may attach up to 5 additional materials to support your nomination, for example news articles, videos or referee statements
