Nominations Open for the Cambodia ICT Awards

Nominations are now open for the Cambodia ICT Awards to recognize the best digital creations in Cambodia.

Cambodia ICT Awards is the largest national ICT Awards in the Kingdom of Cambodia to be recognized. Achievements and achievements on digital innovation in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Purposes

The Cambodia ICT Awards (CICTA (see-ta)) is the largest national ICT Award in the Kingdom of Cambodia, organized by the National Institute of Posts, Telecommunications, Information and Communication Technology with the support of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications. There are four main purposes:

  • Recognition: To provide national recognition for the achievements, achievements and successes of digital innovations in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) in Kingdom of Cambodia.
  • Motivation: Encourage government institutions, new businesses, organizations and related institutions to use digital technology and innovation
  • Promotion: Raise digital awareness among the public and reduce the digital gap in the business community and between people living in the provinces and cities, which is a contributing factor to the development of the digital sector in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
  • Providing opportunities: Provide the public with the opportunity to showcase their achievements in digital innovation with investment opportunities and to become the representative of the Kingdom of Cambodia in competing for regional and global information and communication technology awards.

Types of Awards

  • Best Digital Government Service of the Year: Refers to products, services or works of “ministries, institutions, states” that use digital technology as a means of providing public services in order to strengthen the efficiency of public services and solve problems. Citizens and the public.
  • Best Digital Innovation of the Year: Refers to the products, services or works of companies / institutions that innovate and use digital technology to enhance the efficiency of their business / enterprise by providing new products and services to compete in the market.
  • Best Social Innovation Technology of the Year: Refers to the products, services or works of companies / institutions that innovate and use ICT or digital technology to serve the interests of society and contribute to the economic development of social enterprises.
  • Best Digital Content of the Year: Refers to digital products, services or works of private companies or NGOs that have developed and used ICT to create digital content such as video games, lessons, audio files, etc. Which can contribute to the promotion of knowledge, entertainment and problem solving of the people, the public and society.
  • Best Digital New Business of the Year: Refers to the products, services or achievements of a new digital business that are not older than 3 years from the date of official business registration. Digital Startup must be a company that has created new achievements with innovative ideas using communication and information technology.
  • Best Digital Research and Development of the Year: Refers to the products, services or works of companies / institutions that specialize in research and development in the field of ICT, such as the discovery of new formulas, new methods, new rules, innovations, etc.

Benefits

The 2021 winners will be announced at the opening ceremony of Digital Cambodia 2021, the largest event in the Kingdom. Cambodia on Digital Technology with more than 3,000 participants from national and international guests. The 2021 winners’ reputation will be widely publicized. The 2021 winners will have the opportunity to participate in other regional and global awards.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Ministries, Government Institutions, Local NGOs, Private Companies, Universities, Registered and Licensed in accordance with the Law of God Kingdom of Cambodia. Students can also apply if their work is “Digital Research and Development”.
  • The application or service applied for must be proprietary by the company / institution concerned and developed or developed using at least some resources. Very 51% in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
