There is no set funding limit for this program, but the average approved grants typically range between $2,000 and $5,000. Funds are available to non-profit organizations or community groups based in British Columbia.
Certain expenses are not eligible for funding, including costs related to accessible playgrounds, hearing loss, equipment purchases, wages, programming, or any work completed before the application approval date.
Eligible projects should align with BC Rehab’s mission to support inclusive communities and expand opportunities for people living with disabilities. They must demonstrate how the project will create a sustainable and lasting impact.
Applicants are expected to provide a clear and detailed program budget outlining costs and revenue. Projects should have a well-defined timeline and a capable leader or team to manage the project from beginning to end.
