Deadline: 15-Aug-2025
The James Tudor Foundation Physical Health Grant Programme provides funding to health charities across the UK that offer therapeutic interventions, health information, and direct healthcare services.
The foundation supports charities that address unmet health needs and show expertise in their field. Successful applicants must have a clear strategy, skilled staff, and the ability to demonstrate the impact of their services on the communities they serve. Preference is given to organisations that employ qualified specialist professionals to deliver services.
Funding is available for therapeutic interventions aimed at individuals with acute, chronic, or degenerative physical conditions, physical disabilities, or those recovering from life-changing injuries. These interventions must be evidence-based and recommended by NICE, such as physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, or multidisciplinary rehabilitation. Priority is given to charities that offer these services for free or at highly subsidised rates.
The programme also supports specialist charities focused on single conditions, organisations that deliver direct healthcare to marginalised communities, and air ambulance services in South West England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
Eligible applicants must be UK-registered charities with an annual income below £20 million and at least five years of audited or independently examined accounts. Charities should directly provide healthcare services like clinics, therapies, or rehabilitation programmes, or offer disease-specific information and support.
Charities that focus on ADHD, autistic spectrum disorders, communication disorders, dementia, intellectual disability, learning disabilities, or OCD are not eligible to apply.
