Deadline: 24-Aug-2025
Sevenoaks District Council is offering grants to support businesses with training and resources focused on disability, mental health, and wellbeing. The initiative aims to help local businesses become more inclusive and better equipped to support both employees and customers.
The Enhancing Employment Fund is open to businesses based in the Sevenoaks District. It supports projects that focus on disability awareness, such as inclusive recruitment practices or gaining disability confident accreditation. It also encourages initiatives that promote mental wellbeing, including awareness around neurodiversity.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for eligible projects. To increase your chances of being selected, proposals should clearly address one or both of the themes, outline measurable outcomes, and include a plan to engage at least 20 businesses within the district.
Applications should demonstrate an understanding of the challenges small businesses face and show how the project’s benefits will be sustained over time. A clear plan for monitoring and evaluation is also required.
Before applying, ensure you are authorised to submit the application on behalf of your organisation. You will need your organisation’s registration number and bank details, which are required for anti-fraud checks.
