Deadline: 01-Mar-2024
The Digital Equity Accelerator Program is seeking for 10 not-for-profit or non-governmental organizations that are actively working to advance social and economic equality in their local communities.
As society becomes more digital, people without access to technology and digital fluency are increasingly locked out of economic and social opportunities. The Digital Equity Accelerator helps nonprofits that are working to advance digital inclusion scale their impact. Since 2022, the Digital Equity Accelerator has served 17 nonprofit organizations across six countries, helping expand the reach of participating organizations by 8.1 million. In 2024, the Digital Equity Accelerator will focus on supporting nonprofits in Brazil, Canada, and Poland.
Successful applicants are organizations that are interested in scaling digital equity for groups that face the biggest divide, including women and girls, people with disabilities and aging populations, historically disconnected and marginalized groups, and/or educators and healthcare practitioners, to enable more equitable access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity.
