The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Mexico is currently inviting applicants for its Small-scale Development Projects 2019.
The focus of the projects has to comply with the Overseas Development Cooperation Strategy of the Czech Republic for the years 2018 – 2030. The approaches are:
- Democratic administration of public affairs;
- Sustainable management with natural resources;
- Economic transformation and growth (renewable energy resources, workers’ rights, …);
- Agriculture and field development.
The project should be geared towards supporting development activities through the provision of materials or equipment, training, or capacity-building. Participation in larger projects (including international projects) is an advantage.
Funding Information
The requested Czech financial contribution of the development aid per project must not exceed CZK 500,000 (approximately USD 22,500) , co-financing by other donors or by the filmmaker is welcome. The aggregate part of personal and travel expenses must not exceed 25% of the amount financed by the Czech side.
Eligibility Criteria
- Relevant for: Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua.
- Relevant legal entities (NGOs, non-governmental health-care organizations, educational, health, social and cultural organizations, cooperatives or communities) are presented with the possibility of financing their “Small Scale Local Projects Program” projects provided by the Government of the Czech Republic through the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Mexico.
How to Apply
Identification Form of the “Small Scale Local Development Project” (available on the given website), which should be filled out in English, stamped, signed and delivered in paper and in scanned copy to the Embassy.
