Deadline: 03-Oct-2025
The Creative Change Grants are designed to support individuals, groups, and organisations to experiment, take risks, and explore fresh ideas that foster creative growth across all art forms.
This exciting initiative encourages innovation while helping artists and communities push boundaries and bring bold projects to life.
The program delivers on a key action of the Moyne Shire Arts and Culture Strategy 2024–2030 and also contributes to broader Council priorities, including economic development, health and wellbeing, and youth engagement. By backing projects that inspire creativity, the grants aim to strengthen cultural expression while building a positive social and economic impact within the region.
For the 2025–26 funding period, the total pool available is $15,000, with a maximum of $5,000 available per project. This provides an opportunity for local creatives to access meaningful financial support for innovative projects that might otherwise remain unrealised.
Applicants must be located in Moyne Shire or delivering a project within the region. Eligible applicants include not-for-profits such as incorporated bodies, co-operatives and associations; unincorporated groups with auspice arrangements; for-profit businesses; and individuals or sole traders holding an ABN or working with an auspice. Applicants are also required to hold public liability insurance for public-facing projects and to submit a complete application with a clear proposal and budget. Importantly, they must first discuss their application with a council officer to ensure alignment with the program’s goals.
Through the Creative Change Grants, Moyne Shire is investing in bold artistic ideas that drive innovation, empower communities, and contribute to a vibrant cultural future.
