Deadline: 11-Nov-2025
The Her Power, Her Future project has launched a new Innovation Grant in Armenia to promote innovation, cross-country cooperation, and women’s economic advancement in the region.
The focus of this grant is to support organizations and enterprises in Armenia to create new or enhance existing products, services, or solutions that benefit women, particularly those living in rural areas, while promoting innovation and fostering regional collaboration. Projects should be based on clearly identified or anticipated demand within the applicants’ target segments. Illustrative examples of eligible initiatives include pilot digital solutions, mobile applications, or other innovative tools that enhance women’s participation in local and/or regional markets; products or services that address language and other participation barriers to enhance women’s access to regional economic opportunities; supply chain innovations or services that integrate women producers or service providers into higher-value markets; localized e-commerce features or partnerships with existing platforms to connect women-led businesses to suppliers, buyers, and partners within Armenia and/or across the South Caucasus; cross-border collaboration projects between women’s organizations or enterprises that promote joint business development, trade, or partnerships; data-driven or AI-supported pilot tools that generate actionable insights to improve competitiveness, marketing, or product design for women-owned enterprises; and regional or online knowledge-sharing platforms, innovation networks, or communities of practice that foster collaboration among women entrepreneurs and business organizations in the South Caucasus.
CARE Caucasus, a regional NGO and member of CARE International, manages the Women’s Economic Security Project Her Power, Her Future across Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, with funding from the U.S. Department of State. The project strengthens rural women’s economic security, entrepreneurship, and participation in business and trade while promoting peace and stability. The Innovation Grant continues this mission by extending support to Armenia following successful implementations in Georgia, such as partnerships with GITA to support women-focused technology initiatives like Wenroll and Helio.AI.
Eligible applicants include private sector enterprises, technology companies, startups, consulting firms, business development service providers, business support organizations, innovation labs, research centers, universities, NGOs, social enterprises, and professional networks. One grant, up to USD 25,000, will be awarded, with implementation scheduled between December 2025 and April 2026. Proposals will be evaluated based on design, feasibility, capacity, sustainability, and impact, with a minimum score threshold of 70 points for consideration.
