Deadline: 18-Aug-2025
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is inviting expressions of interest through its Request for Information (RFI) UNDP-UKR from civil society and non-governmental organizations (CSOs/NGOs).
UNDP aims to collaborate with a wide range of non-profit entities, including national and international CSOs, sector-based and community organizations, academic and research institutions, social enterprises, and their support bodies.
The areas of focus include democratic governance, digital transformation, multi-level governance, human rights, justice, democratic participation, and social inclusion. It also covers economic recovery and growth, including infrastructure development, mine action, and sustainable economic development.
In the field of environment and energy, the initiative supports projects on climate change mitigation and adaptation, natural resource management, environmental protection, energy security, and green transition.
Cross-cutting priorities such as data for policy and planning, gender equality, women’s empowerment, and innovation are also supported under this call.
Funding will be provided based on the experience and capacity of the organizations, grouped into four bands. Band 1 organizations may receive up to USD 150,000; Band 2 up to USD 500,000; Band 3 up to USD 1,000,000; and Band 4 may receive over USD 1,000,000.
To be eligible, organizations must be officially registered as non-profits for at least three years. They must be legally able to operate in the UNDP programme country and comply with its legal requirements.
The organization’s legal status must also allow it to receive funds from UNDP under a Responsible Party Agreement or Performance-Based Payment Agreement without tax liabilities, and to transfer procured assets to designated recipients without incurring taxes.
