Deadline: 01-Mar-2026
The TSL International Student Competition invites students worldwide to creatively explore the theme of “Sustainability Culture” through diverse forms of expression.
The competition encourages students to think deeply about sustainability and culture while expressing their ideas in original and creative ways. With opportunities for essays, visual art, music, and multimedia submissions, it promotes diversity in storytelling and communication.
Winners and finalists will receive international recognition, with certificates awarded to students and their Teacher Champions. The top participants will also be invited to the International Student Debates in July 2026, offering them a global platform to exchange ideas and discuss sustainability education.
Entries will be judged on understanding of the topic, originality, creativity, inspirational power, and effective communication. All work must be original, with a bibliography provided where necessary. If AI tools are used for research support, their use must be properly acknowledged following TSL’s citation requirements.
Submissions can be in formats such as DOC, DOCX, PDF, JPG, PNG, MP3, or MP4, with a maximum file size of 400MB. Written entries must not exceed 600 words, while video or audio pieces should be no longer than 3 minutes. Non-written entries must include a short 200-word explanation, and participants may also add an optional 150-word self-reflection about their experience.
To ensure fairness, entries must remain anonymous, excluding any names or school details within the uploaded files. Teachers can register between September 7, 2025, and March 1, 2026, on the TSL Submittable page.
The deadline for applications is 1 March 2026.
