Deadline: 18-Aug-2025
This program is designed to enhance knowledge and provide practical experience in the field of Data Science.
Focus: Exploring the stages of a data project lifecycle, from problem identification to analysis-based recommendations. Understanding data science fundamentals, including data collection, cleaning, visualization, and exploratory data analysis (EDA). Developing, evaluating, and enhancing the performance of predictive models with machine learning algorithms. Gaining an introduction to deep learning and its applications, including image recognition and natural language processing. Mastering the organization and presentation of analytical results to support decision-making through data storytelling.
The program offers participants the opportunity to build a strong foundation in data science, covering everything from understanding different data types to handling them effectively. Participants will learn to implement core concepts using Python, progressing from data analysis and processing to modeling data, selecting appropriate algorithms, and presenting the findings visually.
It is conducted in Arabic, in an in-person, instructor-paced format at Tuwaiq Academy in Riyadh. Over the eight-week duration, participants attend sessions from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, engaging in practical projects and skill-building activities. They will gain hands-on experience with NumPy and Pandas for data processing, Matplotlib and Seaborn for visualization, and Plotly for interactive charts, as well as scikit-learn for building and evaluating machine learning models.
The program also includes an introduction to deep learning, covering applications such as image recognition and natural language processing, and emphasizes the ability to organize and present analytical findings to aid decision-making through data storytelling. Successful completion will earn participants a graduation certificate.
Eligibility requirements include Saudi nationality, recent graduation in a technical discipline, active job seeking, possession of a personal laptop, and full commitment to the program’s schedule. It is free of charge, with the condition that withdrawal may affect eligibility for future Misk programs. The application window is open from 4 August to 18 August 2025, and the program runs from 7 September to 30 October 2025.
