Deadline: 29-Sep-2025
The McKinsey and Company is pleased to announce its McKinsey.org Forward Learning Program to equip individuals at different stages of their careers—from career starters to job changers—with practical skills to succeed in the future of work.
The program enables participants to gain practical tools to turn business problems into opportunities through structured and creative thinking, communicate in clear and impactful ways that inspire action, adapt and develop emotional awareness for working effectively in teams or independently during times of change, build strong relationships while maintaining well-being at work, and develop a digital toolkit with strategies to navigate the modern digital world. Delivered online in formats such as digital courses, virtual-learning events, assignments, and reflection exercises, the program requires an investment of about two hours per week for ten weeks.
At the completion of the Core Skills level, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion along with a personalized McKinsey.org Forward digital badge that can be shared across digital platforms. They will also gain access to a global network of lifelong learners, creating an opportunity for ongoing professional connections.
Eligibility for the program is open to individuals currently residing in the Asia, Australia, or New Zealand region, including Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. Applicants must be employed, self-employed, or between jobs with prior work experience, including internships or apprenticeships, and have less than five years of total work experience. A minimum of high school education or its equivalent and good command of English are also required. Candidates from the nonprofit or NGO sector or those in non-managerial roles may still qualify even if they have more than five years of work experience.
Participation in the McKinsey.org Forward program is entirely free as part of McKinsey’s social responsibility commitment, with no costs to apply, register, or engage in any of the program levels. Applicants need only their own internet-connected device and reliable internet access, as all learning takes place virtually. While McKinsey is not an accredited educational institution and does not provide accredited qualifications, the program offers valuable professional development opportunities and recognition through its digital badge and certification. The deadline for application is 29 September 2025.
