Deadline: 05-Aug-2025
Rise Up, a global nonprofit, is inviting civil society leaders from Rajasthan, India, to take part in its 2025 Leadership Accelerator Training Program. The goal of the program is to support local leaders in advancing gender equity and justice across the region.
Rise Up partners with women, girls, and their allies by equipping them with the training, funding, and tools needed to drive large-scale change at various levels. Participants often go on to train others in their communities and develop their own strategies to promote gender equity and justice.
Selected leaders from organizations, universities, and local groups in Rajasthan will take part in a week-long, in-person training. The program will focus on strengthening skills such as leadership, team building, resilience, goal setting, strategic planning, policy change, and more.
After completing the training, participants will be eligible to apply for seed funding. This funding will help them implement their strategies aimed at improving education, health, and economic opportunity for women and girls.
Rise Up also supports participants in building connections with peers, funders, decision-makers, and partner organizations. Through access to conferences, speaking events, coaching, and grant opportunities, leaders will be able to expand their impact and strengthen their networks.
To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years old, currently live and work in Rajasthan, and show a commitment to promoting gender equity. They must represent or work closely with marginalized communities and be able to attend the seven-day in-person training in November, along with virtual sessions before and after.
Applicants must currently work at a nonprofit, civil society, media, or government organization in a coordinating or managerial role and have support from their organization’s leadership. To receive a grant, the organization must be legally registered and able to accept international funds, or be sponsored by another legal entity.
