The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Lima is seeking applications for its Small-Scale Development Projects to provide funding in Peru and Ecuador during 2026, that generate sustainable results over time, contribute to positive change, and improve the opportunities for the most vulnerable.
Projects such as conferences, seminars, or training courses, as well as those in the education, cultural, or social assistance sectors, will not be supported. Businesses, municipalities, regional governments, state entities, and organizations of the UN system are not eligible to apply.
Each entity may submit a maximum of one proposal. The project implementation period must be between March and October 2026. The financial contribution ranges from CZK 200,000 to CZK 500,000 per project. The proposal will be based on CZK, the currency of the potential contract, and PEN or USD. The project developer will bear the risk associated with possible exchange rate fluctuations, and it is recommended to factor in a reserve for this when preparing the budget. No proposals or changes to proposals will be accepted after this deadline.
To apply, you must submit a project description written in English, using the attached Excel form. You must also provide a document proving the applicant entity’s registration with the corresponding authority and a document proving the legal representative’s authorization to act on behalf of the entity. The application must be submitted both physically and electronically before the October 3, 2025, deadline.
