The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Belgrade is currently inviting applicants to send their proposals for projects that will be implemented within the so-called “small development projects” (formerly known as Small Grants).
Projects should contribute to improving the conditions for developing and strengthening the potential of a particular community. The project should unambiguously show the impact on the beneficiaries and be fully realized (including the monitoring of the representatives of the RP Embassy in Belgrade) by the end of the calendar year. The results of the project should be sustainable after the completion of the project.
All projects should contribute to the implementation of the four thematic priorities stated in the Multi-annual Development Cooperation Program 2016-2020, which are:
- Human capital:
- Improving the quality of health care;
- Inclusive education and availability of higher education;
- civic education;
- Social integration of persons belonging to vulnerable groups;
- Entrepreneurship and the private sector:
- competitiveness and innovation of micro and small enterprises;
- social entrepreneurship;
- Entrepreneurship, with a focus on women entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship of young people;
- training and professional training;
- Sustainable development of agriculture and rural areas:
- safety of food products;
- strengthening the capacity and competitiveness of agricultural production;
- access to the market;
- the use of modern technologies in agriculture;
- modernization of local infrastructure;
- Environmental protection:
- renewable energy sources;
- energy efficiency;
- water resource management;
- waste management;
- preventing the consequences of natural disasters and human-catastrophe disasters;
- promotion of sustainable development;
- fight against climate change and their consequences;
- protection of natural resources;
Funding Information
This year, EUR 30,000 was approved for the implementation of projects in Serbia.
Criteria
For the financing of projects can apply:
- non-governmental organizations;
- Publicly-owned institutions;
- Public institutions at central and local level;
- Catholic religious missions and local centers of other religions, as well as religiously motivated organizations
